It's been a little while since we've posted- life

It's been a little while since we've posted- life has been a flurry of weddings, pre-wedding shoots and madly editing and catching up on everything. We've been spending a lot of time on pre-weddings at the moment, and we love, love, love working on them.

We just wanted to share a little from this beautiful session with Ange and Dan, where we were lucky to catch this lovely spot at low tide. We truly value having the chance to shoot with our couples before the wedding.

Location hunting was actually a bit of a fave hobby of ours before we started the business... Well, we were mostly looking for beautiful places to spend the day ourselves! We're so chuffed to share spaces and experiences with people, and we know that our understanding of our couples is always better because of it.

In chats with an industry pals recently, we mentioned a thought that often pops up for us when getting to know our couples and what they have planned for the day. "Do you want us to tell a story? Or do you want us to tell YOUR story?".

We hope that on your journey, we get to dip into your world, if only for a little moment, to see you and know you and capture you as you are.

It's absolutely time that these two dreamboats entered our feed. Sharing some fave' black and white moments from Marian + Josh's stunning day earlier this month.

We've been lucky to see these guys through from engagement to wedding and it's been such a pleasure getting to know them and witnessing their day. Despite the fact that it was a bit of a scorcher this day, nothing could take away from the sheer giddiness these two had that they were finally marrriieeeeed! So cute to see!

A couple of getting ready moments with the oh-so-s

A couple of getting ready moments with the oh-so-sweet Em on Saturday. Em and Dave took a handful of their pals into the city to get married at the registry, after a quick first look in the gardens.

Afterwards we drove them out to St. Kilda for Em's '30th birthday' event, where all their close fam' were waiting.

They popped their heads around the corner in all their fancy finery and said something along the lines of 'We got Marriiiiiieeeeed!!", followed by the biggest hugs and so much love from their people.

Little weddings, elopements and surprise weddings always get us, every time. It's such a treat to be a part of days like these! Thanks for having us guys - can't wait to share more from this day soon ✨

Our pals Damien and Marcella at the stunning @ripponlea_by_the_gardeners Ripponlea Estate. There's so many beautiful spots to shoot at this venue, we're absolutely obsessed with the stairwell and the greenhouse!

It's been so lovely to get to know these two and share more pics of cats than wedding plans (🤫).

One of the best parts of our job is getting to know so many lovely couples and having such an intimate view of their beautiful days 🤍

Late last year I put together a super last minute

Late last year I put together a super last minute shoot, with the goal of levelling up on some studio experience, and to create something purely for the sake of creating (in a job that doesn't often allow much free time to do so!).

I was so lucky to shoot with @tonyabird , and we worked together to pick a couple of fave looks from the @silklaundry.melbourne wedding collection. I'm particularly obsessed with this three piece silk set, it ticks so many boxes! The look was finished with earrings and a lovely veil bow, from @ameliegeorgebridal 🤍

Thanks to the incredible @jamieminneybridal for her perfect hair and makeup, honestly, hire her so I can work with her again! 🤍

My inspo behind the look was a bit of a 70's courthouse wedding vibe, and creating a simple look that could be repurposed and reworn- I love the idea of outfits that carry new sentiment and memories, to be reworn and loved in the future.

I wanted to experiment with a few techniques that softened and took away the tack-sharpness of digital shots. It was a bit of a flurry of a shoot but I love the peaceful dreamy look these have ✨ (swipe across for a little film moment at the end!)
